Our God-Daughter, Brooke, turns 2!

Adam, Garrison, and I headed to Amarillo to spend the weekend with the Lowrance family. Brooke, our God-Daughter turned 2 on April 21st and had her bday party April 18th. We loved seeing how grown up Brooke is and enjoyed our visit. Jason, Adam, and I all met in Lubbock working at 50th Street Caboose when we were 19 years old and have been best friends ever since. Adam and Jason actually were roomies soon after they met and Jason was the best man at our wedding. It is fun seeing Jason as a husband and dad and seeing how we have all changed so much. Whoever would have thought that we would be such fine-upstanding adults!! :)

Adam and I were broken in well with two year old temper tantrums. The first day we were there Brooke was so tired and needed a nap, but I guess having house guest threw her schedule off. Natalie just went on with her business until Brooke calmed down. Adam was just standing there in awww and commented to Natalie how patient she is. He just soaks up all this parenting information because it won't be long til our little mister is 2 and testing his boundaries. Brooke is so much fun and we wish they lived closer so that the kiddos could really be best buds!
