Randoms March 2009

Garrison is getting so big! He will be 9 months old on March 28th, I cannot believe how fast time flies! He is crawling now, but prefers to get around by an army crawl. He has mastered picking up finger foods with just two fingers. He loves all fruits and veggies, but isn't too fond of meat yet. He knows how to wave hi and bye, and loves to wave to himself in the mirror. The cutest thing he is doing right now is clapping his hands. When you sing the song "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" he gets excited and claps along. It is adorable! I need to get it on video....



You can see his teeth in this picture, and notice he got a little too much sun. OOPS! We kept moving in the shade, but it seems the sun kept following us. He loves to be outside.

Here is Garrison's best friend, Ross, our cat. Ross is really patient with Garrison even when Garrison is swinging his tail all around. He has only been scratched twice :)

Sunday Garrison, Tamina, Matt, and I went and had brunch at Blue Mesa at Northpark. It was delish! Afterwards, Garrison and I, headed down to my papa's farm to spend some time with the family. Garrison really enjoyed being outside and rode his first horse, Maverick. He wasn't even scared of him!! He is getting so big!

Good Luck Laci!!

One of my best friends, Laci, decided to move to Michigan to be with her boyfriend. Adam and I have had the privilege of meeting Matt several times, and while we really enjoy him, we have no clue why anyone would want to move out of the great state of TEXAS!! :) We wish Laci all the best with this new journey but I am sad that she will be so far away! Here are some pics from her going away party.

Tamina, who now lives in houston, came and stayed the weekend with Adam and I so they could come to the party. I really enjoyed getting to spend time with her and Matt. This picture just cracks me up, I think maybe they were singing to Bon Jovi :)

Crawling

I really didn't think Garrison would ever start to crawl! In fact he pulled up before he crawled, he just loves to be on his feet and hates being on his stomach. He finally has figured out how to go forward in his crawl, but his favorite mode of transportation is still rolling. It really is entertaining to watch him go and pretty funny when he gets stuck underneath stuff :) He eats everything we give him and wants to eat what mommy and daddy are eating. I hope he remains a good and healthy eater!

8 months

Garrison is 8 months old. He loves to babble, bounce, spit, and play with his tongue. He says dada the most but yesterday said bye-bye and waved for the first time. Adam had picked him up from my mom's and he wanted to tell her bye! Can someone please figure out a way to make him stop growing or maybe just make time stop for a little bit! I don't want to stunt his growth, but he is getting too big! :)
